Favorite Friend Friday: Jesus

"What a friend we have in Jesus"

Jesus is always there at the top of my list...no doubt about it. He is always there for me to lift me up when I need it the most. He is always the one that lets me know that no matter what, things are going to be okay. He is always the one that seems to wrap his arms around me and comfort me when I need it the most. He is always the one that holds my hand and helps me through the tough times.

The last couple of months haven proven to be 2 of the toughest months I have experience thus far in my life. There have been days when I did not think that I was going to make it and Jesus has pulled me through those days. I have relied on Jesus as I have prayed and prayed. I could tell that He was always listening to me and helping me through any of the tough times that I was encountering. Jesus knows all...so I knew that He knew what I was going through and He knew the pain I was feeling. Jesus knew that I needed Him more than ever and I could feel His presence more than ever.

I am so grateful to have a friend in Jesus. He could have turned His back on me for the last couple of months and let me drown in my sorrow...but He did not. I love Jesus very much. I appreciate all that He has done for me.
